The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast buffet items according to established recipes and quality standards. This role ensures timely food preparation, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, and delivers high-quality meals to guests while following all food safety guidelines. Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, meats, and other menu offerings • Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines • Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies before service • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations • Assist the Breakfast Attendant in monitoring the buffet • Properly store food items according to safety regulations • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, if needed • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous experience as a cook or in food service preferred • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays Skills & Competencies • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Attention to detail and consistency • Time management skills • Teamwork and communication skills • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Work Environment • Fast-paced kitchen environment • Exposure to heat, sharp equipment, and kitchen machinery • Early morning shifts are required Compensation: $17 hourly
