We require an experienced cook who is familiar with a wide range of cooking techniques, including poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking. You must ensure that every order is cooked properly according to our standard recipes and that it fully satisfies our guests' demands and requests. Our ideal candidate has outstanding time management skills as well as a team-first mindset to effectively assist other kitchen personnel and keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations • Assemble a system of food stations and fill them with everything they need for the shift • Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served • Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude • Grill, broil or saute menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage Compensation: 10.75 - 13.75 hourly
