About the Role:

Wicked Maine Lobster is looking for an energetic and passionate Cook/Cashier to join our team in sunny San Diego, CA! If you love great food, great people, and bringing the taste of Maine to the West Coast, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items including lobster rolls, seafood dishes, and other specialty offerings to order

Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a top-notch dining experience

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and front-of-house areas

Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations

Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times

Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume service periods efficiently

Requirements:

Previous experience in a cook, line cook, or food service role preferred

Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience a plus

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain one

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
