We are seeking a dedicated and experienced culinary professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic food service environment, providing high-quality meals and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and customer service within the food industry. This position requires a commitment to food safety standards. This position is for day shift and includes weekends.
Duties
Prepare and assemble meals according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support diverse dietary needs
Handle food with care, maintaining proper food safety and sanitation protocols
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
Contribute to meal preparation for various settings such as fine dining, catering events, or daily service
Serve food to guests in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer experience
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
Support team members in food handling, cooking, and plating tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Proficiency in various cooking methods
Background in restaurant settings demonstrating attention to detail and efficiency is preferred
Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of quality
Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
