We are seeking a Cook / Prep Cook to help serve a school in Lake City. In this position, you will assist the manager in preparing delicious meals, taking inventory, and assisting with monthly menus. If you have a passion for feeding our youth during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you! Please DO NOT go to the school, as we are a 3rd party hired through them as their Food Service Management Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner

Follow all food safety regulations

Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test that we do for you

Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role is mandatory

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or willing to obtain ASAP

Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes

Excellent time management skills

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
