Job Title: Cook Team Member
Reports to: Restaurant Manager & Kitchen Manager
Within the location assigned, the Team Cook Member is in charge of preparing all of the food served at Salsa Fresca Grill. In this key role, it’s imperative to maintain a consistent product through following recipes based on critical control points, prepping and maintaining par levels as well as a high level of care in proper sanitation and cleanliness.
Main Accountabilities:
In addition to following Salsa Fresca’s policies and procedures, your main accountabilities are as follows:
Follow directions from your Manager regarding daily par level forecasting based on the day
Ensure a clean & sanitary kitchen at all times
Ensure the food maintains a high level of quality and consistency
Inspect and ensure all the food being received during deliveries are of the highest quality Salsa Fresca Prides itself in
Follow daily par level sheets
Help “feed “the front line during lunch and dinner rush with backups. Be the Linebacker.
Quality and portion controls
Perform any other tasks assigned by MOD
