About the Role:

Join The Learning Experience - Corporate Childcare Centers as a Cook in Albuquerque - Paradise Hills, NM! In this role, you will prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our little learners, ensuring they receive the best start in life through healthy eating.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook balanced meals and snacks for children in accordance with nutrition guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following health and safety regulations.

Plan weekly menus that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.

Collaborate with staff to ensure meal times are enjoyable and engaging for children.

Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure freshness.

Train and supervise kitchen assistants and volunteers.

Document food preparation and sanitation procedures for compliance.

Participate in special events and activities that promote healthy eating.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen or childcare setting.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
