    Position Title: Cook / Food Truck Manager Location: NYC Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Operations Supervisor

    Position Summary: We are seeking a US VETERAN reliable, motivated, and skilled cook to join our food truck team. This position involves food preparation, cooking, packaging, and operating within a fast-paced mobile kitchen environment. The ideal candidate has prior kitchen experience, strong teamwork skills, and is eager to learn proprietary recipes and cooking techniques. This role also requires driving and operating a 24-foot food truck, so a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Set up and break down workstations and cooking equipment

    Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables and cutting meat

    Learn and prepare 12 proprietary sauces (training provided)

    Operate pasta maker (training provided)

    Cook food items according to recipes and quality standards

    Stir, turn, and monitor sauces and dishes while cooking

    Package individual food orders neatly and accurately

    Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment

    Store food and supplies properly and in compliance with safety standards

    Check ingredient quality and freshness

    Monitor stock levels and report shortages

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment

    Proficient with cutting tools and kitchen equipment

    Basic knowledge of cooking techniques (training provided as needed)

    Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs

    Must be a nonsmoker and free of drug use

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Excellent stamina and physical condition

    High school diploma or equivalent (culinary diploma is a plus)

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    Ability to obtain or current holder of a New York Food Handler Card

    Willing and able to drive a 24’ truck

    Compensation: Base Salary plus equity “Based on experience” Schedule: weekdays, weekends, flexible hours, etc.
