The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking motivated and dependable Cook 3 professionals to join the opening culinary team of Polo Pony , our elevated American cuisine concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their culinary careers who are eager to learn flattop and roasting fundamentals and contribute to a high-volume, upscale kitchen environment.
As a Cook 3 at Polo Pony, you will assist with basic station prep, maintain cleanliness and organization, and support the culinary team in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to growth will reflect the World Equestrian Center’s core values of Quality, Class, and Distinction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Execute dishes with consistency and accuracy during service, following established culinary standards.
Perform foundational prep tasks including chopping, measuring, and portioning ingredients with care and attention to detail.
Follow recipes and plating instructions precisely to ensure quality and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout prep and service.
Learn and apply safe handling practices for kitchen equipment and ingredients.
Support fellow team members during service, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing kitchen environment.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and eagerness to learn from senior culinary staff.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
Entry-level role; prior kitchen experience is a plus but not required.

ServSafe Certification preferred.
