BACK OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION

The Back-of-House Team Member at Chick-fil-A Cookeville plays an important role by producing the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. No experience necessary! Part-time and Full Time Positions available.

YOUR ROLE ON OUR TEAM

• Prepare, cook, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, to meet the highest Chick-fil-A standards

• Maintain a clean and safe environment to serve and protect our guests by following Food Safety and Cleanliness Guidelines

• Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and Food Safety standards

• Assembling, cleaning, and maintaining operating equipment: pressure fryer, open fryer, grill, temperature gauges, etc. 

• Create a place of restoration for guests and team members

• Work in a fast-paced, high energy environment

• Following procedures to ensure Operational Excellence

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Must be 16+ years old

• Available to work Weekends

• Friendly

• Enthusiastic & Optimistic

• Team-Oriented

• Detail-Oriented

• Servant Spirit, Loves serving and helping others

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

• All applicants are expected to work on their feet for several hours at a time

• Ability to potentially lift heavy objects when necessary

• Prior experience as a cook, grill cook, fry cook, prep cook, line cook, chef, or restaurant crew member, team member, or other BOH part time restaurant job is not required but preferred.
