As a Dream Team member, you get to bake + sell something that everybody loves: COOKIES!! You are responsible for greeting the guest, taking orders, charging & receiving money, & ensuring the guest receives the correct order. Additionally, you will learn how to mix & bake cookies according to Cookies & Dreams processes & standards.

Position: Dream Team Associate

Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Managers

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Our Dream Team Associates perform a variety of duties including greeting & serving guests, receiving payments, maintaining cash drawers, beverage preparation & stocking counters. They are also in charge of executing recipes, baking cookies, topping cookies, making fillings, mixing toppings, preparing orders & following bakery pars & policies to produce cookies. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Always come to work with a clean uniform.
• Follow health codes and maintain a safe, clean, & organized work environment.
• Be a team player—support & assist your fellow team members whenever possible.
• Responsible for counting cash drawers at the beginning & end of shifts.
• Greeting guests & taking orders.
• Ringing guest orders into the cash register or POS system.
• Responsible for properly charging the guest & collecting payment for orders.
• Responsible for processing credit & debit card transactions.
• Answering the phone & taking phone orders.
• Interacts with guests in a friendly & efficient manner.
• Stocks display counters accurately & efficiently.
• Cleans equipment, as assigned, thoroughly & in a timely fashion.
• Keeps the floor in the work or service area clean & free of debris.
• Completes shift work, as assigned, timely & thoroughly in accordance with company standards.
• Handle a fast paced environment with ease along with a sense of urgency.
• Produce cookies with a near perfect level of consistency & accuracy.
• Identify & evaluate problems & alert management as needed.
• Be able to follow directions well.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, & policies.
• Be well versed in the baking procedures, toppings & requirements.

Compensation

$13-$15/HR BASED ON EXPERIENCE + TIPS PAID OUT IN CASH AFTER EVERY SHIFT.
