    Machine Vision Engineer

    We are hiring for a Machine Vision Engineer in our Davidson, NC office. This resource will be responsible for design and defining standards for vision technology used for plant automation. If you or someone you know have deep knowledge and experience in one or more fields of automation including material handling, tracking, and movement (vision guided vehicles, autonomous mobile robots, RFIDs), controls engineering (high and low voltage control, PLC/HMI hardware and software, production monitoring and control, electrical CAD), robotics and collaborative robotics, automation safety and safety standards, machine vision, industrial networks, software programming, data architecture, analytics, and visualization, and manufacturing operation management (MOM), please connect with us to learn more about these exciting opportunities with our client.

    This is a full-time role that is onsite/hybrid in our Davidson NC office- the Full time salary is $130,000 - $160,000 plus benefits/bonus

    Required Skills:

    Minimum work experience: eight years in Manufacturing Engineering and five years in factory automation

    Deep knowledge of automation applications with successful development and deployment experience

    Deep knowledge of Digital connectivity / IoT and sensor technology

    Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences

    Manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently

    Ensure effective and efficient completion of projects by planning and implementing courses of action with other functions and key stakeholders

    University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, or Computer Science

    Willing to be mobile and travel domestically and globally

    U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

    Lead the selection, configuring and programming of Vision systems to improve quality of Assembly process at our manufacturing plants across SBU's.

    The person must be from Electrical & Electronics or Control systems background and should have minimum 8-10 years of experience.

    Experience in application like part presence, vision gauging, crack detection, parts and color identification, object orientation, character recognition, items sorting etc.,

    Experience in integrating Vision system with Robots and Cobots to guide Robotic Alignments

    Experience in using vision system makes like Cognex, Omron, Keyence etc.,

    Hands on Experience in 2D and 3D vision system, Vision Programming and Deep Learning software.

    Hands on experience in interfacing with PLC, HMI & SCADA

    Experience in industrial protocols like Ethernet IP, Profinet, Modbus, FTP and MQTT.

    Knowledge on Database like Oracle, SQL and their integration with Vision Systems.

    Troubleshoot and update Vision software programs based on change in manufacturing and quality needs
