    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

    Support CPI’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Responsible for the selling, delivering, and servicing fuel and oil products to customers. Ensures compliance with CPI policies, regulations, procedures, and practices including all local, state, and federal laws.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide a positive attitude to customers and peers through providing outstanding and courteous customerservice.
    • Arrive when your shift is to begin and work the assigned hours.
    • Follow the safety guidelines and safety programs established by CPI and complete safety reports andrequired records.
    • Know present customers, their needs and buying habits.
    • Inform customers of programs and product promotions.
    • Assist in growing CPI business, striving to convert prospects to customers.
    • Convey information to the Operation Manager that may be valuable to fellow team members and CPI.
    • Support CPI’s programs, promotions and policies.
    • Deliver or ensure delivery of ordered products.
    • Maintain the truck in good working condition which would include but is not limited to keeping the truckclean and presentable. Report all discrepancies of the truck (repair the ones that you can), and maintainrecords for work repairs the truck has received.
    • Support and enforce CPI's credit policies being aware of customer account status and collects on accountsas needed.
    • Provide timely reports as required.
    • Address customer complaints and questions. Monitor and follow-up until final resolution.
    • Educate customers of respective route days and positively encourage either "keep full" participation oradvanced "call-ins" by customers.
    • Perform leak checks and replace regulators (Liquid Propane Driver Only).
    • Adheres to CPI’s compliance with “Duty to Warn” obligations with existing or new customers (LiquidPropane Driver Only).
    • Perform all assigned housekeeping duties inside and outside location. Keep location clean and orderly.

    • Working knowledge of business computer skills (Microsoft Office and Internet software).

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

    High School diploma or GED. Minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    REQUIRED: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and any other necessary endorsements.

    CETP Certified (Liquid Propane Driver Only).

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    PCP LEVEL: 4

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and /or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. Exerting weight exceeding 100 pounds will require two people to lift. When pulling hoses, employee is required to pull only 50 feet each time. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
