    Job Description

    Here at Universal’s Filmed Entertainment Group, we take our audience seriously and use cutting-edge research and data tools to better understand moviegoers and inform decision-making throughout the lifecycle of our films. Whether we’re conducting a global brand study to unpack one of our marquee franchises, putting a new film from an up-and-coming director in front of a test screening audience for the first time, or using feedback on movie trailers to shape the marketing strategy for an upcoming release, being part of the Creative Strategy and Research team is an opportunity to find the story in the data and share it with an engaged audience of fellow best-in-class marketers and executives.

    The Coordinator, Creative Strategy and Research is responsible for supporting the EVP of Global Creative Strategy and Research in all aspects of worldwide market research, traditional and digital media, consumer analytics, and marketing strategy. Administrative duties include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling travel arrangements, and performing other tasks as assigned. The Coordinator also assists with strategy and research projects.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Manage schedules and coordinate meetings with internal and external parties using multiple calendars. Balance the demands of high-level filmmakers and studio executives, and collaborate with other team assistants to anticipate potential conflicts in advance
    • Assist the EVP in strategy and research projects, including data entry and analysis, tracking changes in creative materials, and conducting other research as assigned
    • Coordinate travel schedules and arrangements; collect and organize required travel documentation.
    • Prepare and process expense reports in accordance with divisional travel policy guidelines. Ensure timely processing of expenses using the latest electronic systems for corporate credit card payments.
    • Maintain and update databases used for studio-wide analytical reports and projects. These documents help align marketing messages and tactics to maximize box office performance.
    • Maintain proper recordkeeping and filing systems for all work, including organizing the team’s extensive Dropbox and OneDrive folders
    • Synthesize and share research findings with other teams in the marketing department as needed.
    • Provide support to other department members as necessary
    • Maintain department business with the utmost confidentiality
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years of experience in a media research or analytical environment
    • Bachelor’s degree required

    Basic Requirements:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel; experience with Google Dashboards is a plus
    • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed

    • Demonstrates strong attention to detail across multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.

    Additional Requirements:

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    _ Salary range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 (not bonus eligible)_
