    The Service and Repair Coordinator must be able to work under minimal supervision to support a wide variety of repair related requests including semi-routine and/or moderately to very complex service requests. Coordinates interactions between repair technicians and instrument repairs support personnel. Coordinates communications and interactions with internal and external groups for various projects. Applies acquired job skills and knowledge of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Partners with local Quality team to investigate CAPAs/NCs/Audit Observations (internal and external). Assists the area Supervisor and Lead Repair Technician with the coordination of daily activities for the instrument Repair Department area and supports daily scheduling of manpower and material.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate repair work orders from Customers/Loaners/Forward Stocking Locations/Metro Offices coming into the repair department.

    • Work with the Lead Repair Technician to distribute workloads across repair technicians and repair customer support.

    • Maintain a well-organized work area with required product information and technical support contact lists.

    • Interface directly with repair technicians and instrument repair support staff for work order follow-up and part status.

    • Completes appropriate paperwork/data entry and maintains records.

    • Fill out daily and monthly status report numbers as required.

    • Assigns specific tasks and duties to instrument repair support staff to ensure the smooth flow of products through the various areas of the department.

    • Maintain appropriate inventory levels through cycle counting.

    • Partnering with appropriate departments in compliance investigations, NC, Internal Audits investigations, and/or CAPA, etc.

    • Maintain a close working relationship with Customer Service and the Customer Quality (CQ) group.

    • Maintain personal & department metrics.

    • Reports personnel, equipment, and/or material issues that may need to be addressed with an employee if required by the Lead Repair Technician and/or Supervisor.

    • Assists the trainer as necessary.

    • Informs the supervisor of any issues that may need to be addressed with an employee.

    • Lead department initiatives with internal and external sources as needed by Supervisor

    • Set the standard of work for personnel working in the department

    • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance.

    • Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor, Compliance Department, or Sr. Staff.
