    Job Description

    DreamWorks Animation is seeking a highly organized, efficient, and people-passionate Coordinator to join our fast-moving Early Careers & Outreach team. As part of DreamWorks’ broader Talent Acquisition organization, our Early Career Programs & Outreach team connects the studio to schools, nonprofits, and industry partners - opening doors for the next generation of talent through our Internship, Trainee, and Fellowship programs.

    This role is high-impact and deeply collaborative. From coordinating all things Internship Program to executing outreach initiatives with partnership organizations/colleges/universities, we move quickly and with purpose. We are looking for someone who’s ready to jump in, own their lane, and elevate every experience, all in service of developing the next generation of creative talent!

    This role is located onsite in Glendale, CA and reports to the Sr. Manager, Early Careers & Outreach.

    Responsibilities:

    Early Career Programs:

    • Own the recruitment lifecycle of the early career programs (Internships, Trainees, Fellowships): job postings, interview scheduling, onboarding, offboarding.
    • Provide early career candidates with a positive and lasting impression when interviewing.
    • Keep our databases organized and up-to-date.
    • Update key program materials regularly and oversee program communications, flyers, trackers and newsletters.
    • Collaborate with Marketing on social media campaigns that spotlight our interns/trainees/fellows and amplify our brand.

    Event Planning: This is where you shine. You’ll be the go-to for planning and executing events for both early career programs and outreach initiatives.

    • Lead the charge executing logistics on all Early Careers events, from orientations, to intern events, to studio classes, to large-scale outreach initiatives.
    • Handle the event planning details with multiple stakeholders: vendors, catering, facilities, flyer communications, NDAs, drive on passes, etc.
    • Create branded materials: flyers, agendas, signage, social media assets, etc. while reflecting the DreamWorks spirit.
    • Work with internal teams from catering to facilities to technology to ensure a seamless event.
    • Bring fresh ideas to the table and elevate every event with your creative touch.

    Outreach Initiatives:

    • Coordinate and execute campus visits and virtual outreach including: managing logistics, designing flyers, updating presentations, managing portfolio submissions, etc.
    • Own operational details: NDAs, guest passes, tech set up, room reservations - ensuring every visit runs smoothly and professionally.
    • Maintain professionalism and strong communication with colleges, universities, and academic orgs.
    • Help craft messaging and materials that tell our story and connect with students.
    • Represent DreamWorks with energy, authenticity, and professionalism at career fairs, panels and industry events.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 1+ year of relevant experience in HR/Recruiting, university relations, and/or event coordination.
    • Ability to travel to local colleges/universities during peak recruiting seasons.
    • You’re a natural communicator — clear, warm, and confident.
    • You’re obsessed with details and thrive in fast-paced environments.
    • You’ve planned events and loved every minute of it.
    • You genuinely care about helping early career talent grow and succeed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Familiarity with application tracking systems or CRM tools.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Drive).
    • Experience in the animation or entertainment
    • Graphic design experience (i.e. Adobe)
    • Experience in fast-paced, high energy environments

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
