    Job Description

    The international publicity coordinator position is based in LA. This position will work as part of the Focus/Universal international team, who are based in the US and London. This position will be responsible for supporting the Focus/Universal team across international campaigns on the full slate of Focus Features films. The team’s objective is to work closely and consistently collaborate all international markets to provide strategic publicity input as well as broader marketing strategy contributions to ensure the execution of holistic theatrical marketing campaigns.

    Essential Responsibilities :

    • Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required
    • Assist the team with tracking nominations, junket interviews, film festivals, and talent handling as needed
    • Facilitate logistics for press junkets, including booking crews, hotels, makeup artists, and hair stylists
    • Coordinate and execute virtual and phone interviews
    • Liaise with international territories on materials and day‑to‑day campaign support
    • Organize screenings for press, talent, representatives, partners, and tastemakers
    • Build strong relationships with talent agencies to negotiate rates for glam and styling
    • Serve as the primary liaison for publicity travel, booking all travel for talent, representatives, and staff for tours and campaign activity
    • Create all tour documents, including schedules, travel and hotel grids, campaign reports, and luggage tags
    • Upload one‑pagers, production notes, and festival strategy documents to UPI Media for international markets
    • Research and provide publicity information to support departmental objectives
    • Produce ad‑hoc PowerPoint presentations and reports for publicity campaigns and internal presentations.
    • Travel as required to support talent tours and film festivals
    • Must be flexible and willing to work across time zones as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years of experience in the entertainment industry
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Must be available to work overtime and extended hours as needed to work at Premieres/Special Events/Screenings

    Additional Requirements:

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000 (hourly paid)
