  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Administrative & Executive Support to the NY Team
      • Provide administrative support to the department
      • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
    • Identify and track policy activity across the country, along with monitoring legislative developments in key local jurisdictions
    • Provide logistical support for political engagement at all levels of government
    • Track and prepare briefing memos on key elections and political developments across the country
    • Create and edit distribution lists, correspondence, legislative reports, and presentations
    • Assist with team projects and research, as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 1+ years of relevant work experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Bachelor’s degree in English and/or Political Science, Government, Public Affairs, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Demonstrated familiarity with the legislative process.
    • Outstanding writing skills and to distill complex policy issues into simple explanations and compelling messages.
    • Solid project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

    This position has been designated as hybrid , generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
