    Job Description

    VERSANT is seeking a highly organized and media-savvy Coordinator, On-Air Talent Strategy to support the EVP and the broader Talent Strategy team. This role is central to the smooth operation of a department that drives the strategic vision for on-air talent across multiple cable properties. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the entertainment industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring strong administrative and project coordination skills to a team that shapes the future of on-air presence.

    About the Department:

    The Talent Strategy team serves as a center of excellence for on-air talent across all platforms. Through shared values, unified practices, and a forward-thinking approach, the department leads initiatives that elevate talent visibility, performance, and cross-platform collaboration

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-level administrative support to the EVP of Talent Strategy, including calendar, travel, and expense management.
    • Coordinate department-wide meetings, talent-related events, and cross-platform initiatives.
    • Track and maintain key data on on-air talent, including appearances, story counts, and time off.
    • Support the development and implementation of department-wide processes and best practices.
    • Manage logistics and documentation for talent contracts, external engagements, and strategic planning.
    • Liaise with senior leadership across platforms to ensure alignment on talent-related projects.
    • Assist with the execution of special projects and campaigns that feature or involve on-air talent.
    • Maintain department records, reporting, and deliverables to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Act as a welcoming ambassador for talent and guests visiting the department.
    • Process department invoices and manage office-related expenditures.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Media, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1 year of professional experience, ideally in media, entertainment, or talent relations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Must be willing to work overtime when required
    • Must be willing to travel for work related business if necessary

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $50,000 -$60,000.
