    _ Job Description:_

    NBC Sports is looking for a social marketing strategist to join our team – a detail-minded and collaborative team member who’s passionate about how to blend data and insights into actionable content strategy for NBC Sports and its portfolio of brands. In this role, you’ll work with the Director, Social Strategy & Insights to support strategy development and content analysis, a critical part of the team that connects audience insights and creative ideas to brand priorities and making sure everyone has the information they need to deliver their best work.

You keep things moving forward with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Support the development of strategic briefs and presentations, gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders.
    • Manage business critical social insights workflows, including content tagging, data analysis and content evaluation
    • Coordinate with Sports Marketing group to align with key business priorities, including short and long-term social strategy development
    • Compile and summarize competitive and industry research to help inform social marketing strategies
    • Organize and maintain engagement and growth vitals on the full suite of NBC Sports properties, making it easy for team to quickly access relevant insights and updates.

    _ Basic Requirements:_

    • * 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, media, communications, data and analytics, or related field
      
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various social data and management platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr or similar)
      • Comfortability managing multiple tasks simultaneously, in which no task is too big or small
      • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and processes
      • Demonstrated interest in sports and entertainment programming and brand marketing
      • Strong work ethic, with a dedication to excellence and exceptional attention to detail

    _ Desired Characteristics:_

    • * Bachelor’s Degree preferred
      
      • Experience in basic data analysis is required

    ** Additional Requirements:**

    • Hybrid : This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    • Salary range: $50,000- $60,000
