    Job Description

    As a Coordinator, Sports Marketing, you will support the promotion planning and execution of various high-profile NBC Sports properties, including the Olympics & Paralympics and Sunday Night Football. You will be responsible for helping to drive awareness, subscriber acquisition and viewership of sports properties across streaming, linear and digital platforms. This role will report to the Manager, Consumer Engagement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist team in developing and leading tracking of marketing campaigns for NBC Sports properties across streaming and linear
    • Monitor progress on asset deliverables, organize agendas for meetings, create innovative presentations and data-driven reports to support tentpole events.
    • Liaise with various NBC Sports business units, including production, programming, digital, social, CRM and cross-company partners to help develop consumer engagement plans around key programming and milestones
    • Assist with agency activations across property initiatives
    • Support the planning and execution of large-scale promotional shoots
    • Coordinate schedules for all internal team and external meetings and is responsible for recording notes and action items in partner and internal meetings
    • Manage additional administrative tasks for the team, including working with the company travel agency to coordinate athlete travel, reconciling expenses, and more
    • Work towards managing Interns
    • Communicate on a regular basis with appropriate team members
    • Be an active team member, contributing your unique ideas on ways to drive audiences to priority events
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Experience with sports or entertainment properties and the streaming services space is a plus
    • Has high standards for work, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail
    • Capable of professionally interacting with high-profile athletes and their representation, both in person and via written communication
    • Ability to effectively take direction and apply learnings to everyday responsibilities, a positive can-do attitude
    • Highly resourceful. Problem solver, with strong oral and written communication skills
    • Works well in a team, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and grace under pressure.
    • Creative, well organized, possesses a strong work ethic with a desire to excel and willingness to learn
    • Proven ability to partner effectively with internal partners and external agencies
    • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
