Job Description
Versant is seeking a Coordinator to support the operational needs of its News Standards and Partnerships Team for MSNBC and CNBC.
This coordinator will be a key player in the launch of a new company and news gathering operation attached to some of the most trusted and recognizable brands in media. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in journalism, as well as a start-up mentality and an eagerness to learn and take on new projects and responsibilities. You’ll wear many hats in supporting our journalists and advancing our journalism. The job reports to the Senior Vice President for Standards and Partnerships.
The Versant News Standards Team will provide support and guidance to editorial teams across cable, digital and audio platforms, setting and maintaining editorial and ethical guidelines to safeguard the credibility and integrity of our journalism. In addition, this position will support an expanding news partnerships operation that seeks to advance our journalism through strategic partnerships with other news organizations and content producers.
