Position Overview

The Coordinator of School Programs supports the coordination of school-based programs by managing sites, volunteers, and data to ensure quality and compliance. This role requires travel to school sites for both in-school and after-school programs. The coordinator works closely with the Manager of School Programs, school partners, and community volunteers to create meaningful student and volunteer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Foster a program environment that supports youth development, academic growth, and social-emotional learning (SEL).

Coordinate school program sites, volunteers, and daily operations.

Recruit, train, and track volunteers; ensure background check compliance.

Maintain accurate program data in CRM, Teams, and Asana.

Support curriculum delivery, evaluation, and community events.

Ensure program and grant compliance, track expenses, and report outcomes.

Share success stories and photos for newsletters and social media.

Foster positive relationships with schools, volunteers, and partners.

Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, social work, youth development, or related field.

1–3 years’ experience in youth development, volunteer coordination, and/or program administration.

Organized, detail-oriented, and strong communicator.

Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Asana, and CRM systems preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
