As a Commodity Analyst based in our Sidney, OH or St. Louis, MO location, you will assist with Indirect spend management for Copeland through E-Sourcing and negotiations. You will act as the liaison between Indirect Suppliers and Buyers. As a Commodity Analyst, you will assist the Indirect managers in Procurement E-Sourcing (ES) events, including ES setup, data analysis, supplier outreach, monitoring of ES events, sourcing decisions, and contract completion.

As a Commodity Analyst, you will:

• Assist Indirect managers with ES events from start to finish include E-sourcing and negotiations

• Screen indirect suppliers add forms for accuracy and completeness

• Train internal users and Co-ops Indirect resources in Indirect functions

• Participate in Copeland Indirect Teams

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• One (1) year of experience in a Procurement function or related experience. May include co-op experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of individuals including Procurement, Finance, Internal Stakeholders and Supply Chain
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Two (2) years of procurement experience in Indirect
• Experience with electronic sourcing and analysis
• Training in negotiations and business law
• Experience with Oracle and OnBase

This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule.

You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM
