Our Estimators at Copeland play a fundamental role in setting the stage for customer satisfaction across all our departments. They are responsible for producing precise cost assessments for precast concrete utility materials, taking into account project scale, jurisdictional regulations, individual client requirements, and structural viability. Dedication to accuracy is key for our Estimators at Copeland, as they strive to deliver dependable quotes that both our team members and customers can trust. Responsibilities: • Read Civil and/or Plumbing plans. • Perform takeoffs of precast utility products/structures on plan sets. • Use Titan 3000 Precast Management System to enter project and structure information and generate quotes. • Communicate with customers about design needs and project scope as necessary. • Be a point of contact for customers with design/cost questions throughout the quoting process. • Revise quotes as needed per new information, customer preferences, etc. • Be a backup for incoming phone calls, taking messages, and helping customers as needed. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Familiarity with reading Civil Plans is preferred. • Ability to learn quickly and retain new information. • Attention to detail. • Strong organizational skills. • Basic math competency. • Positive attitude. • Problem-solving aptitude. • Computer literacy and competence in a Microsoft Office environment. Compensation: $25 hourly
