Copier and Printer Repair Technician (Kyocera/Copystar)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kyocera/Copystar Copier Repair Technician to provide field service and repair for commercial multifunction copiers, including laser printers, scanners, and fax systems. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to resolve both hardware and software issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hardware diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kyocera and Copystar multifunction copiers
Troubleshoot and resolve printer, scanner, fax, and network-related issues
Address software-related issues, including firmware and configuration problems
Complete service calls and work orders accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding job status and parts needs
Attend all required training sessions to stay current with equipment and procedures
Provide professional, on-site customer support at client locations
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a copier repair technician
Experience servicing Kyocera or Copystar equipment preferred
Strong knowledge of copier hardware, schematics, and mechanical systems
Proficiency in software troubleshooting and basic computer networking
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites
Strong communication and time-management skills
