    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dependable and skilled Copier Service Technician to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for office copier and printing equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service while ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

    Key Responsibilities

    Diagnose and repair copier, printer, and multifunction office equipment at customer sites within assigned service areas.

    Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to minimize equipment downtime.

    Utilize diagnostic software, technical manuals, and service tools to identify and resolve technical issues.

    Respond promptly to service requests and complete repairs in a professional and efficient manner.

    Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs completed, parts used, and time entries.

    Manage vehicle inventory, including parts, tools, and supplies required for daily service operations.

    Participate in ongoing technical training and stay updated on new copier technologies and equipment models.

    Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication and quality service.

    Follow company safety standards, operational procedures, and service guidelines at all times.

    Attend team meetings, training sessions, and other company-required events.

    Assist with additional service-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Previous experience repairing copiers, printers, or office technology equipment preferred.

    Associate degree or technical certification is a plus.

    Experience servicing brands such as Sharp, Canon, HP, Konica Minolta, Xerox, or Ricoh is highly desirable.

    Certifications & Requirements

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Reliable transportation and proof of insurance required.

    Skills & Abilities

    Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.

    Ability to work independently and manage service schedules efficiently.

    Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and service management software.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions quickly.

    Team-oriented mindset with a professional and customer-focused attitude.

    Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple service requests.
