Copilot was founded by an emergency room doctor and technology entrepreneur who were frustrated that by the time people show up in the ER for diabetes and blood pressure related issues it is often too late. So they teamed up to create Copilot, with a vision of helping keep patients out of the emergency room in the first place.

Copilot is looking for an incredibly patient-focused Telehealth Nurse Practitioner to help patients with diabetes and hypertension to live a healthier life. This is a remote role, where you will manage a cohort of patients and leverage our technology to provide 10X better care than these patients have received previously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Provide world-class care to patients by leveraging data to inform your decision-making

•    Conduct live and interactive clinical assessments of patients, providing or recommending treatment, and providing care from your home office via tele-video technologies

•        Deep respect for patient confidentiality

•        Compassionate and trustworthy

•        You need a reliable broadband Internet connection

• Work closely with our Telehealth Nurses (LPN)'s and supervising physicians as appropriate to coordinate care

• Help new patients to enroll in CopilotIQ

• Document encounters and patient notes in AthenaHealth EHR

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably with experience delivering care via telehealth
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

•       Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification 
•       Actively licensed in 3+ of the following states (the more, the better): Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania
•       Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
•       Able to become credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid, and other payers as necessary
•       Board Certification required
