    Position Overview: The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the organization. This position will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the sales department. This position will be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Leadership and Team Management:
      • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performance sales team.
      • Develop and implement effective sales training programs.
      • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales department.
      • Collaborate with New Product Development and Marketing teams to support continued growth in sales.
    2. Strategic Planning:
      • Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
      • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the development of innovative sales approaches.
    3. Performance Metrics and Accountability:
      • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the sales team.
      • Implement performance management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
    4. Customer Relationship Management:
      • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
      • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
    5. Market Analysis:
      • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
      • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in a B2B environment.
    • Strong track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
    • CPG experience preferred.
    • Proven experience in mass market sales.
    • Demonstrated ability working on large retailer solutions.
