With over 30 years of construction experience, they launched the business 4 years ago, and have rapidly expanded to serve 5 locations with 13 crews.     Position Overview:

    Reporting to the COO and CEO and serving as a key member of the Management Team, the General Manager will primarily focus on continued strategic initiatives and organizational development to help scale a business that is primed for growth. Overseeing the company's overall operational structure, the General Manager will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, refine processes, develop personnel, and optimize infrastructure to meet current and future demands.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning and Execution: Translate company strategy into departmental goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track successes, and address areas needing improvement in collaboration with field and office teams.
    • Leadership and Talent Development: Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports, fostering their development and success, while recognizing and cultivating rising talent within the organization. Develop hiring, onboarding, and training programs to support continual growth, and direct and optimize current and future labor needs.
    • Performance Management: Conduct timely, complete, and meaningful performance management conversations, participating in and approving hiring decisions to maintain a high-performing team.
    • Operational Excellence: Develop operational tools, processes, and procedures to facilitate scalable growth into new markets, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in product/services and customer experience, collaborating with other departments to implement changes that enhance overall quality and satisfaction.
    • Financial Oversight: Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process, reviewing and monitoring Profit and Loss (P&L) to meet company goals.
    • Safety and Quality Assurance: Drive a culture of safety, ensuring all services and products meet quality standards, while planning, designing, and aligning capabilities for future company initiatives and projects.

    What You’ll Need:

    • Strong background in operations, with experience within a service-based environment preferred
    • Experience with developing budgets and writing business plans, with proven track record of year-over-year growth of operations
    • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, recognizing and nurturing talent to drive success
      • Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level vision to day-to-day tactical operations
      • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operational metrics
