    Bartender - Tipsy Rooster Liquor Store & Bar

    The Tipsy Rooster Bartender is responsible for the complete set up of the bar and store area and the mixing, serving of drinks for all guests and customers. The Bartender needs to maintain the service and cleanliness, ensuring high quality, customer satisfaction and control over liquor inventory.

    Responsibilities

    • Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all customers,
    • Set up the bar according to the standards and ensure that customers are served promptly and efficiently,
    • Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the bar standards, 
    • Serve guests and customers with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous and professional manner,
    • Break down bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment,
    • Follow all state liquor laws,
    • Abide by all safety policies and rules,
    • Ensure that the bar and the store areas are kept clean and tidy during service and opening hours.

     

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent,
    • Flexible and long hours sometimes required,
    • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects,
    • Ability to stand during entire shift,
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner,
    • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
    • Must be able to multitask and prioritize,
    • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner,
    • Attend all required meetings and trainings,
    • Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Bar,
    • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag,
    • Comply with the general regulations, standards to encourage safe and efficient operations,
    • Perform other duties as requested by management.
