Our ideal candidate will be engaged, hands-on, and prepared to operate a "best in class" resort!    Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa has 134 rooms and cabins. We are a full service Resort offering: food & beverage, lodging, championship golf course, upscale spa, stables, catering, conferences, hiking, tennis, recreation and much more!   

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should perform the following essential functions of the position:

    • Greets, registers and assigns rooms to guests
    • Issues room key
    • Assists in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
    • Be familiar with all park services/features, lodge amenities, local attractions/entertainment, shopping/dining and travel directions to respond to guest inquiries accurately
    • Keeps records of room availability and guest accounts
    • Computes bill and collects payment for guests
    • Makes and confirms reservations
    • Posts charges such as room, food or telephone to guest accounts
    • Follows all cash handling procedures as established by Accounting
    • Develops a thorough knowledge of room types, locations and selling strategies
    • Knowledge of amenities and hours of operation
    • Performs the duties of a PBX operator by answering switchboard, directing calls to proper locations, monitoring surveillance cameras, contacting personnel via paging system
