    Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is owned by the State of Georgia and managed by the Southeast's leading Hospitality Management Company, Coral Hospitality.  This is a great opportunity for a candidate who enjoys serving people and leading by example.  The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Human Resources, preferably in a resort environment.  We are looking for someone who is passionate, caring and enthusiastic.

    EXPERIENCE:  1-2 YRS OFFICE SKILLS EXPERIENCE, COMPUTER LITERATE, GREAT GUEST SERVICE SKILLS, HUMAN RESOURCES EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

    Working with the General Manager and Regional Human Resources Director, this full-time entry level position will support the day-to-day needs of the Human Resources duties by:

    1. Maintaining accurate files for all employees 

    2. Completes the onboarding process for all new hires

    3. Schedule interviews, conduct job reference checks on applicants being considered for hire.

    4. Schedule new hire processing

    5. Process background reports on new hires

    6. Submit all new hire paperwork to Oasis, including E-Verify confirmation

    7. Orders office supplies including blank name tags and materials to make name tags.

    8. Coordinates performance evaluation program so that employees receive their reviews in a timely manner, i.e., sends monthly reminders to manager & Executive Committee, tracks reviews, etc. 

    9. Two weeks prior to official holidays, compile and distribute to management team, list of Associates who are not eligible for holiday pay.

    10. Maintain quarterly Employee of the Month program by soliciting nominees, coordinating presentation and producing award documents and postings.

    11. Assists with special projects and employee relation programs.

    12. Compile and mail responses to job applicants.

    13. Maintain communication boards.

    14. Keeps Regional Human Resources Director apprised of all communications, correspondence, projects, disputes and other activities that he/she is aware of and/or working on.

    15. Expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing.
