Georgia Veterans State Park & Lake Blackshear Resort, located in Cordele, GA is one of Georgia's most visited recreational treasurers.  Located on the waters of Lake Blackshear, the park offers lodging, 2 restaurants, golf, marina with boat rental, conference services, camping, hiking, archery and much, much more.  

We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

We are looking for a CART BARN ATTENDANT.  This position promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems. A smile is part of the uniform of all employees!

WAGES:   $9.00 PER HOUR. WE ARE CURRENTLY PAYING A $450 RETENTION BONUS IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT! THERE IS A RETENTION BONUS OF $100 AT 30 DAYS EMPLOYMENT; AN ADDITIONAL $150 AT 60 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT AND AN ADDITIONAL $200 AT THE END OF 90 DAYS.  THIS IS A TOTAL OF $450 IN ADDITION TO YOUR EARNINGS. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Maintain golf carts in a clean and professional image at all times.

Maintain service area, bag drop, bag room and driving range.

Empty trash in all areas.

Properly mark and label golf bags and rental clubs.

Pick up driving range during the day and at night.

Secure golf cart barn and bag room.

Greet all customers at all times.  Assistance should be offered immediately.  Thank all customers when they arrive and leave.
