Data Engineer

Our client is looking for someone who enjoys wrangling data and building scalable solutions. We're seeking a Data Engineer to join an agile team and help design, develop, and implement a robust data lake using Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory. The right candidate will gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. This Data Engineer will partner with stakeholders to ensure clean and consistent data models and build solutions using SQL, Python, and Spark to address data needs. This individual will be comfortable managing data integrity, resolving issues, and creating technical documentation. This Data Engineer will be proficient in Azure data technologies (Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory).

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of similar data engineering experience

• Expert in Azure data tools (Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory)

• Experience with Data Lakes, Warehouses, Marts, and Data Models

• Builds & maintains data pipelines (ETL, databases)

• Strong SQL, Python, Powershell, Spark skills

• Agile development, version control (git) experience
