IT Network Engineer

We have a fantastic role for an IT Engineer who will be responsible for providing technology services around the deployment, configuration, and support of the company’s network and server infrastructure, with primary focus on networking. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational system stability and availability, while actively engaged in testing and deployment of evolving solutions. The IT Network Engineer will partner with the architects on technology standards and roadmaps, the IT Engineer assists in effective solution delivery with a focus on efficiency and scalability, overseeing technology contributions from internal and external resources.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Deep knowledge of switching, firewalls, routing protocols (BGP, IPSec VPN, MPLS), DNS, DHCP, and SDWAN/VPN technologies.

• Experience with Fortinet (required) + familiarity with Palo Alto, Aruba, Cisco, and other network hardware vendors.

• Comfortable working with Windows Server roles, server virtualization (VMware), Office 365, and on-prem/cloud/hybrid infrastructures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to document complex technical information.

• Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex solutions. Strong leadership, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.

• Ability to work remotely, prioritize tasks, and lift 50 lbs.

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent + 3-5 years supporting enterprise networks
