Automated QA Engineer

Our client is searching for a meticulous and passionate Automated QA Engineer to join their team! The right candidate will have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure the quality and functionality of applications by crafting comprehensive automated test scripts. Daily tasks include integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline, debugging and troubleshooting test failures, maintaining existing test suites, and staying ahead of the curve on automated testing best practices. It would be beneficial if leveraging .NET experience to test .NET applications or backend functionalities!

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including the role of QA testing within the development process.

• Proficient in Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues within automated tests and the applications under test.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
