DevOps/SRE Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps/SRE to collaborate closely with customers and internal teams (engineering, development, operations) to improve cloud initiatives and processes. The right candidate will be instrumental in designing and building CI/CD pipelines, integrating toolchains for a smooth development to production flow, and ensuring traceability throughout the process. The DevOps/SRE Engineer will be critical in supporting Kubernetes deployments, infrastructure as code (Ansible, Puppet, VMware), and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) while troubleshooting customer issues related to containerized applications and cloud services, while contributing to internal and external documentation. This individual will have strong technical leadership, communication, and administration skills (Kubernetes platforms, DevOps products) are essential.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Ability to identify business & technical needs, design & implement optimal solutions with strong knowledge & experience with container technologies and troubleshooting performance.

• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.

• Ability to write sustainable scripts using languages like Python, Perl, etc along with experience with automation tools, preferably Red Hat Ansible

• Must be able to understand operating systems, application security configurations, and best practices.

• Experience with JIRA, Agile methodologies, problem-solving, organization, and time management.

• Experience troubleshooting complex Kubernetes issues preferred along with various DevOps tools.
