    HR & HIRING SPECIALIST

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

    ü Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required, preferably with an HR emphasis/major

    ü Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR role

    ü Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software

    ü Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented

    ü Excellent communication skills

    EXPECTATIONS OF THE ROLE: The HR and Hiring Specialist will have a variety of responsibilities both internally for Core and externally for our clients which include but are not limited to:

    ü Recruitment of new staff including writing job descriptions, maintenance of all job postings, candidate screenings and interview scheduling.

    ü Onboarding and orientation of new staff including offer letters, employment agreements and all government paperwork

    ü Creating evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

    ü Implementing initiatives to increase employee engagement

    ü Developing new HR policies and procedures and suggesting changes in existing policies and procedures based on employee and company needs

    ü Researching compensation in order to create salary and bonus structures

    ü Building new benefit offerings and administering employee benefits

    ü Composing and updating employee handbooks

    ü Handling workplace investigations and disciplinary, termination and off-boarding procedures

    ü Maintaining employee and workplace privacy

    ü Assisting with other special projects as needed
