As a Senior Core Operations Valuation Associate, you'll support our investment and distribution process for American Funds. You'll play a critical role on our team by being involved in a daily valuation process. Your scope will include preparing and reviewing daily and periodic valuation tasks, assessing and tracking vendor performance, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc valuation reports to internal Committees and Boards. You'll help drive business value by researching and implementing new valuation procedures in accordance with regulatory and/or audit guidance. We will leverage your expertise to stay ahead of valuation industry trends though self-education, attendance of valuation conferences. You will partner with our investment professionals to obtain guidelines on valuation methodologies and to better understand, build and review valuation models for hard to value assets (level 3).

• You have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a relevant field of study and have a foundational knowledge of securities and the investment industry.
• You have strong technical systems skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx
