Overtime, weekend work and nights may be required Job Description The Ready Mix Driver is responsible for safely delivering a quality product to our customers. They are responsible for communicating with other team members in order to help maintain success. The Job requires the following duties: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Deliver ready mix concrete to job sites Be familiar with slumps Upkeep and cleaning of exterior and Interior or ready mix truck, Job requires the following motions: o Climbing o Bending o Squatting o Frequent lifting of extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.) o Stretching o Driving/sitting and shifting gears Can be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers Thorough knowledge of DOT Regulations Perform other work related duties as assigned This position requires a person who is self-motivated, professional, and willing to be a team player Requirements 2 plus years CDL 2 years plus of Ready Mix experience prefered High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Must have safe driving record (will have to provide 5 year certified DMV Driving record.)
