RESPONSIBILITIES
5+ years’ experience in DevOps and/or Infrastructure Engineering (or equivalent experience as a full stack Software Developer, responsible for coding either/both application and infrastructure)
Experience leveraging multiple methods of working such as CI/CD, Agile and a strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of branch/merge strategy, the development workflow and how it all ties back into an Agile engineering process
Strong experience using Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, & Orchestration tools (Chef, Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Control M, etc)
Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
Systems architecture - including Unix, Linux (BSD, Arch, Ubuntu, Gentoo), OpenVMS, FlashCopy, HP/UX, Tru64.
Cloud and Virtualized Design - AWS, Containers, Clusters, Beowulf, Hadoop, Kubernetes
Scripting Languages - BASH, HTML, PHP,
Build and Release Management - ClearCase, GitHub, Apache, Make, CMake, Jenkins
GDL Environments
Basic networking knowledge; TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, routing and HTTP.
GPU Experience a huge plus

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience working with infrastructure and/or related roles such as System Administration and DevOps
5+ years of working with cloud architecture and services in multiple public clouds (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or IBM Cloud)
5+ years of experience in automation of code deployment across multiple cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VMWare, and Openstack
5+ years of experience with software configuration management systems
5+ years of experience with virtualization and containerization architecture
Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Bash, Ansible, etc)
Experience with Active Directory, Windows group policies, and Linux integration with Active Directory
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to define, capture, interpret product/system requirements
Collaborative work style, especially in a highly virtual and cross-functional environment
