POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Program Analyst supports the US Navy’s Fleet Forces Command N8 and N9 codes in developing concepts for Distributed Maritime Operations by leveraging output from multiple capability development lines of efforts, identifying and validating solutions, and CONOP / Concept coordination and implementation. Work tasks include program management, planning, design, execution, analyses, assessment, and reporting/product delivery for capability development activities such as Fleet Battle Problems and Large Scale Exercises. This position serves as a subject matter expert on the coordination, planning, execution, and assessment of Fleet Disruptive Capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Previous military officer experience and experience working with echelon one and Echelon two military commands
Six years of experience as a technical lead or strategic planner on future technology programs and projects
Experience in planning naval exercises across multiple warfare domains
Experience with Navy/Joint military operations, policy, doctrine and systems
Experience in developing military courses of action
Experience adapting to a fast-paced, team-based environment and managing or leading team performance
Experience handling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables
Experience with advanced naval technology products and deliverables
Experience as a Team or project leader
Experienced public speaker and presentation skills
Eligible for DoD Top Secret security clearance
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
