    Corium is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company leading the development of novel transdermal healthcare products along with CNS therapies intended to transform care and provide alternative treatment options for patients and their families.  We are passionate about people – our employees, our patients and their caregivers, and our partners.  This is a dynamic and diverse opportunity for a talented and innovative sales leader to thrive in a growing environment that values work-life integration and professional development._ _ POSITION DESCRIPTION The ADHD Regional Director leads a team of 8-10 specialty sales representatives, who provide product and disease state information in the ADHD market to a broad audience of healthcare professionals, while effectively communicating the clinical profile of Corium’s products.  In this role, you will develop the regional strategy and lead individual team members to engage with healthcare professionals in an effective and compliant manner.  These activities will include individual and group sales presentations to targeted healthcare professionals, coordination of professional education programs, and analysis of market trends in order to identify territory-specific business opportunities and other value-added services targeted for a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead a team of 8-10 sales representatives who are responsible for effectively and compliantly promoting Corium’s products to Physicians and other healthcare professionals (HCPs).
    • Review and analyze regional and territory-specific market data in order to develop a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales objectives.
    • Act as coach and leader to develop individuals on team.
    • Ensure team is leveraging data and customer knowledge to build discussions around HCP’s and patients’ needs.
    • Utilize sales and marketing tools and other resources provided to educate healthcare professionals on Corium’s products.
    • Establish and cultivate relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals within designated territory.
    • Attend all company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by Corium management.
    • Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.
    • Additional duties as required.

    Required Experience

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required.
    • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed (including overnights and/or weekends) is required. Travel up to 75% is expected – amount of overnight travel to be determined by region size. 
    • 2+ years of management experience. 5-10 years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience.  CNS experience is highly preferred
    • Experience working independently with direct responsibility for all business within an assigned geography.
    • Demonstrated track record leading successful sales teams in an environment requiring a high level of initiative, accountability and ethical and compliant actions.
    • Ability to learn complex scientific and technical information and effectively communicate to a broad audience of healthcare professionals.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Frequent travel between meeting sites, requiring ability to sit for extended periods of time.
    • Frequent use of a computer, telephone, printer or other office equipment.
    • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
    • Must be able to meet licensure/credentialing requirements as required by state/geography/healthcare facility
