    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

    We’re looking for an ACCOUNTING CLERK to handle core accounting tasks surrounding data entry, accounts payable, general bookkeeping tasks, and a heavy focus on accounts receivable. Answering to the Controller this role will be a vital part of our day-to-day accounting operations and team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to take ownership of their responsibilities and grow within an organization. This position will be part-time at first with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Organizing & keeping up to date accurate and detailed electronic records;

    • Accounts Payable, ensuring that invoices are entered correctly and placed on file;

    • Accounts Receivable & Collection activities, helping to bring customer accounts to current;

    • Data entry and maintenance, ensuring both customer and vendor listings are accurate and up to date with the most current information;

    • Reconcile and apply payments to customer orders;

    • Reconcile cash flow to ensure receipt of goods from suppliers against ap;

    • Prepare daily AP & AR reporting & ensure delivery to stakeholders;

    • Work hand in hand with the controller in tightening up accounting practices and ensuring the accuracy of data;

    • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

    WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

    • 0-3 years of Bookkeeping, AP/AR Clerk, Accounting Clerk experience preferred but not required;

    • Prior experience or working knowledge of accounting software (Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, Zoho, NetSuite, etc);

    • Working knowledge and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIF(S));

    • Experience handling sensitive materials and and keeping matters confidential;

    • Ability to manage time effectively and keep things organized;

    • Eagerness to learn and excited about making an impact within a growing startup.
