    Job Description

    Main function: When CAMS (Computer Aid Manufacturing Software) was rolled out to all NCI plants to be automated it became imperative to be able to provide data to XDA from orders out of MBCI Componentized Building Group where customers shop details are done in numerous applications such as CAD, MBS, TEKLA, Hand drawings and others - The only application that produces data compliant with XDA is XDS.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • XDA Team review shop details and bill of materials received from MBCI Sales Coordinators and send back conflicting information and issues for customer clarification
    • Schedule our release dates for jobs to keep in line with production schedules in Oracle 11i system
    • Maintain our internal job schedule that coincides with the scheduling mentioned in point #2 that contains dates for: reception of job details, dates for projects due, our actual release dates & miscellaneous notes pertaining to the projects
    • Outsource majority jobs to XDA sub-contractor (Cadeploy) for XDA conversion. When finished MBCI XDA Team review and resolve questions incurred during conversion prior to its final release to shop for fabrication
    • Assist sub-contractor with all conversion issues and release process and provide updates of standards changes. Sub-contractor is notified for any mistakes
    • Assist Sales with miscellaneous tasks such as clips and other questions they may have
    • Convert in XDA Parts orders and Shortages and component orders coming from Atwater plant
    • Answer all shop calls for immediate resolution
    • Process in XDA all urgent jobs that requires immediate release
    • Communicate needed conversion fixes to Drafting support
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ Years of related experience and/or training preferred
    • Computer skills with emphasis on AutoCAD skills required
    • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) software experience required
    • Ability to use advanced trigonometry and geometry required
    • Ability to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings required
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates Degree in a related curriculum from an accredited institution

    The US base pay range for this full-time position is $23 per hour to $25 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
