    Job Description

    The Strategic Pricing Analyst reports to the Director of Strategic Pricing supports continual efforts to develop the business division’s ability to make data-driven decisions related to pricing. This role partners with key business leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Analytics, General Managers, and Finance to develop and drive pricing strategy across the business unit. Key responsibilities for this position include designing pricing architecture, setting list prices, governance, and pricing models to ensure price realization and profitability optimization. The position will also be responsible for driving creation and delivery of advanced dashboards, analytical reporting, and data analysis to uncover pricing trends that advance the ability of commercial leadership to accomplish profitable growth objectives.

    ** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

    • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, customer behavior, and pricing dynamics
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including GM’s, sales, marketing, finance, and product management to gather insights and align pricing strategies with business goals, including setting list price and regional pricing
    • Develop and maintain pricing architecture for each category
    • Develop and maintain pricing models that incorporate cost structures, market demand, and competitive positioning
    • Analyze historical pricing data to identify opportunities for pricing optimization, promotional strategies, and pricing elasticity
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing pricing strategies, making data-driven recommendations for adjustments when necessary
    • Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings, pricing trends, and performance metrics
    • Collaborate in the development of pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and effective execution across the organization
    • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements related to pricing strategies & technology
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field required
    • 3-5 years in analysis, market research, manipulating and analyzing data to develop and drive pricing strategies for a business unit
    • Previous experience in pricing preferred but not required
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
    • Experience with Power BI is a plus
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex pricing concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • Experience in using pricing software and analytics platforms is a plus
    • Familiarity with relevant industries and markets is advantageous
    • Excellent time management skills and managing multiple projects with conflicting time lines

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 to $105,000+ 5% Annual Bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
