JOB DETAILS

Base pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on experience)

Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all company safety guidelines
• Installs and repairs a variety of electrical equipment such as, relays, control transformers, circuit breakers, motors and motor controls
• Installs and replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts
• Participates in preventive maintenance programs as established by the company and performs inspections of equipment and takes preventive action when necessary
• Maintains buildings, performing minor and major repairs
• Maintains continuous improvement efforts in the work area
• Will be assigned additional projects or duties as designated by Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial manufacturing facility
• Capable of prioritizing daily and long term tasks based on production schedules and equipment open time
• Able to communicate clearly the status of completed and on going projects with other technicians and line leads
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns, both electrical and mechanical
• Mechanical experience replacing / installing motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts
• Electrical experience working with machine controls (24 to 480 Volts)
• Capable of utilizing electrical prints and diagrams
• Ability to perform work requiring bending lifting and twisting. as well as working at heights up to 30 feet
• Preferred experience with the following: Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic controls, Welding (Mig), Crane maintenance and inspections, Operating arial lift, equipment (scissors lifts, boom lifts), Programmable Logic Controllers, (PLC's), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's) and Conduit installation up to 1" (EMT, Ridged)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
