Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create freight bills and all accompanying paperwork for warehouse shipments including exports and other special shipments
• Review orders shipping and prepare paperwork and labels for picking and loading
• Creating and maintaining various reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Inventory adjustments and analysis to include but not limited to cycle counts
• Maintaining inventory locations
• Generate, process, and research cycle counts
• Processing customer returns and shipping discrepancies
• Process buy resale and interplant receivers
• Interface with Customer Service group in our corporate headquarters regarding order shipment, receipts, and shipping discrepancies
• Coordinate trailer availability/determine carriers using the current load building software
• Build loads to make up production & shipping schedule for plant operations using Shippers load building software
• Research shipments and trace as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, advanced degree is a plus
• Maintaining and operating computer databases and spreadsheets; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated performer with sincere commitment to help others
• Attention to detail
• Accountability for quality, productivity, and safety
• Basic math skills required. (addition, subtraction, decimals, percentages, etc.)
• Occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on business needs
