The Supply Chain COE & SRM Leader will establish and lead the Cornerstone Building Brands Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) organization, reporting to the SVP, Supply Chain. This role will design, execute, and implement controls for the governance of the enterprise-wide Supply Chain organization, primarily focused on attaining and sustaining best-in-class performance and value. This leader will establish company-wide standards, policies, and processes while also tracking performance for Supplier Relationship Management. Once standards are established, this role will work across the enterprise to effectively implement and maintain compliance. This work will require collaboration with operations and functional support to gain alignment on the overall strategic shift.
Successful candidates must demonstrate strategic agility, sound judgement, personal resilience, effective organizational skills, influence ability, and desire for innovation. Strong experience and knowledge of S&OP processes, ERP, procurement, supply chain systems, and integration requirements is critical.
Essential Duties:
- Develops, builds, and leads the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team and Center of Excellence (COE).
- Develops, Documents, and Implements policies and governance for all sourcing related processes, ensuring appropriate review schedules, maintenance/amendments, and enterprise-wide flow-down. Leverages system usage to the maximum extent possible.
- Leads Supply Chain Enterprise Oversight, Reporting, and Compliance including, Benefits, Compliance, and Risk. Drives and monitors maturity progression as well as assessments of compliance to policies and standards.
- Develops overall Supply Chain training strategies and program requirements, partnering with HR to implement programs. Defines and develops curriculum for Supply Chain policies, systems and processes, and skillsets at all levels. Leads skills assessments and delivers training. Define Supply Chain certification requirements and program.
- Ensures documentation and maintenance of lifecycle tools, templates, and leading practices. Collects and maintains industry knowledge and internal research/analysis. Manages document and report repositories.
- Coordinates and supports M&A Team for Supply Chain function and for integration of new businesses.
- Provides advisory support across the enterprise for continuous improvement, and implementation of new policies and processes.
- Provides a technology enablement strategy to support Supply Chain functions.
- Designs/Develops and Drives Implementation of Source to Pay Procurement system, iValua, across CBB, ensuring buy-in, training, and on-boarding of all five Business Unit teams and Corporate Functions.
- Coordinates with enterprise technology initiatives impacting Supply Chain.
- Oversees Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) governance for all of Supply Chain, including Business Units.
- Ensures alignment across business unit and functional teams both internal and external to supply chain through partnership and collaboration at all levels.
- Effectively communicates COE and SRM vision while driving cultural, systems, and process changes to achieve it.
